The selected nurse will be responsible for delivering essential healthcare services at the MHNT site. Duties include:

Providing care for minor surgeries (wound dressing, etc.)

Distributing essential medicines prescribed by the doctor

Keeping stock records and alerting about stock-outs
-
Registering and assessing the nutrition status (MUAC, weight, height) of children under 5 and pregnant/lactating women

Conducting bi-weekly follow-ups for SAM (Severe Acute Malnutrition) cases and providing rations per IMAM guidelines

Administering Vitamin A when required

Promoting use of iodized salt and healthy dietary habits

Monitoring growth of children and screening for acute malnutrition in absence of a nutrition counselor

Documenting all activities, beneficiaries served, and supplies distributed, and submitting monthly reports
