Key Responsibilities – Acbar Jobs in Faryab 2025

The Provincial Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Regional Manager to ensure effective project implementation in line with ActionAid’s Country Strategic Plan.

1. Project Development & Management

• Plan, implement, and manage projects with technical and logistical support.

• Supervise beneficiary selection, verification, and distribution of resources.

• Oversee training sessions at village level and ensure objectives are met.

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting according to donor requirements.

• Provide technical support for project design and implementation.

• Monitor budget utilization and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

• Assist with donor communication and proposal development.

2. Project Quality Assurance

• Ensure effective and impactful project delivery.

• Document lessons learned and share best practices across the team.

• Develop and review performance indicators.

• Support staff in conducting surveys, data collection, and analysis with a focus on gender inclusion.

• Contribute to progress and final reports with recommendations.

3. Coordination & Representation

• Represent ActionAid Afghanistan in meetings with government officials, donors, and community leaders.

• Strengthen coordination between departments such as finance, HR, logistics, and admin.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and donor guidelines.

• Attend stakeholder and provincial-level meetings as required.

4. Additional Responsibilities

• Represent ActionAid Afghanistan at provincial level.

• Support organizational development initiatives.

• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Regional Manager.

Job Requirements – Acbar Jobs in Faryab 2025

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in water, infrastructure, or emergency projects (INGOs preferred).

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical expertise in WASH and emergency programs.

  • Experience working with government departments and ministries.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English and local languages.

  • Capacity building, advocacy, and policy engagement experience.

  • Strong leadership and participatory management skills.

  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 80% field visits).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Social Sciences with relevant field experience.
